Depends on your laptop. If its a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro you can Airdrop the photos to it wirelessly: Use AirDrop on your Mac - Apple Support

If its a Windows or Linux laptop, then you either use a cloud service, or an App that allows this.

For example: Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC - Apple Support

An example of an App: ‎Photo Transfer App - Bitwise on the App Store

your iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC using your local wifi network.

finally after tons of inquiries and answers, i found the answer on my own. you can't upload video now from your iphone11 unless you click on the bluetooth button, then it works like a champ. i never use bluetooth, i connect wirelessly from my home computer system and don't ever use bluetooth. even in the iphone manual they didn't tell us this.

i have that. the problem was as i said earlier, you have to turn on bluetooth

Bluetooth is a wireless technology, and yes AirDrop requires bluetooth. But no no wires required.

With that said, I'm confused, is it working or not?

none of this helped. i figured it out on my own. you need to toggle bluetooth on to transfer videos. then i turned it back off. works like a champ now.
