MacBook charger and device

Purchase a New Charger:

Be safe about it: To avoid any more damage to your Mac, get a new, just get a new charger.

Did the tea get on the charger or laptop or both? If just the charge, although not liquid-proof, you can try drying it the best you can. Let it then dry additionally for another day before attempting to use it to charge your notebook.
