Wet magsafe end

So last weekend my charger got wet cause it was rainy, and the magsafe end was filled with water and some damped paper (i put it next to a notebook). I carefully removed the paper and cleaned it with a cloth and immediately plug in to my mac. It was charging but i was still worried so i let it dry for 2 days. Last thursday, my mac’s speaker began to sound muffled (although it did not get wet) and sometime the trackpad didnt work. I was thinking that the charger is the cause because i can see some kind of corrosion on the end. Should I leave it or what should i do?
