Late 2018 vs Early 2020 Mac Mini

Is there ANY difference between a Late 2018 and Early 2020 Mac Mini, aside from available SSD sizes? Will they handle all the same OS updates down the road? Have the same overall value?

Technically, there is no model named Early 2020. The Late 2018 model is the current model. There must be at least a hundred confirmations of this in these forums.

The NEW Mac Mini is still a Late 2018 model and the larger SSD is the only thing that has changed.

Yes. But I am not sure about previous macOS versions, especially Mojave support. If they have the same FW, I'd suppose both would support Mojave but some sources claim that Mojave is not supported in the updated Mac mini 2018.
