Apple watch carriers

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a series 5 Apple Watch (GPS and cellular) from my older sister. She has Sprint and she also got it through Sprint. I have Verizon. We live far from each other so she would mail it to me. To avoid the hassle, I just want to know if I would be able to still use the Apple Watch even though we have different carriers.

Apple Watch on a different carrier than the iPhone My carrier (Mint Mobile) do not support Apple Watch. Iphone & Apple Watch - Different Plans - Same Carrier Currently I have an iPhone and Apple watch on the same Verizon account. My job has just offered to bring my phone number over to their account (that is also Verizon) and pay the bill, but the watch is not included. Is it possible to have the iphone on one account and the apple watch on the other and them still work together and the cellular part still intact? Right now my apple watch has it's own number and it rings and receives texts/notifications when my phone does as well.

Firstly she will have to follow these steps;

Before you sell, or buy a watch from someone else

Then you will have to setup a cellular plan with Verizon.
