Restoring Apple mail from using Time Machine - Restore button greyed out

When opening Apple Mail and entering Time Machine I never get the restore button to become active.

Is there an issue with Time Machine in Apple Mail/Catalina 10.15.5 ?

Thanks in Advance

The mail is stored in the Home/Library/Mail/V7 folder. You can go to that the Mail folder and then enter Time Machine. Go back to a time when the emails you need would be present and Control (right) - click on the V7 folder and select "Restore V7 to....." from the contextual menu. Restore it to the Desktop where you can go thru the .emix files to find the emails you need. You can view them with the QuickLook feature, i.e. select one and tap the space bar. You can then scroll thru them with the up and down arrow keys.
