Desktop file - Files App

Why do desktop documents in Files App on iPhone keep asking me to download them when they were already uploaded? It normally requires wifi connection.

Sometimes really need these files and am unable to open them because they require download - wifi connection and my Mac.

Ever since getting my iPhone 13 Pro, when I download files to iCloud Desktop using the Files app, they do not appear on my iMac Desktop. I recently purchased an iPhone 13 Pro, and an Air 4. I have 2015 iMac. My iMac is set up with the iMac Desktop as part of iCloud. What I've done for a long time is to download files to iCloud Desktop folder, using one of my iOS devices Files App. Then, the app would appear on my iMac Desktop for me to work on, and eventually refile to another iCloud folder. Since obtaining my new iOS devices, the downloads appear in the Desktop folder when searching the iOS Files app, but the files do not appear on the iMac Desktop. Any suggestions? Thanks!

File scanned in app not visibile in iphone I have sacanned files with Adobe Scan app, all files were saved in PDF and stored in app. When I scanned those files I didn't have internet conection. The files never got uploaded to the cloud. Later, when I had WiFi, those files were no longer visible and no longer available. Where can they be stored in IOS, Iphone 12 Pro Max?

Unable to download folder from iCloud to iPad3 I am unable to download a folder of pdf-files from my iCloud Drive to the desktop (or any folder)on my iPad3 (which is new to me). When I click the "Select" button only 3 options appear at the bottom of the screen: New Folder, Move, Delete. (i.e. no cloud-download symbol appears).
