The answer to your question would be NEVER! Stevie has never like Flash and will never incorporate its use into any of his devices. Once HTML5 becomes the standard, it won't matter anyway and it's the better technology.

Why not ask Adobe why they haven't developed a version of Flash for iOS that isn't a battery or resource hog? After all, they've had 3 years to work on it.

This was discussed before in the time between iOS3 and iOS4. People inquiring to Apple to add Flash to the iPhone. One of the reasons why Apple will not is because of the flawed coding Jobs pointed out. Another is that it would hinder on battery life and performance.

Android phones had their battery life and performance drop several times more than with it not on the device. Despite Adobe attempting to improve it further with Flash Lite and CS5 and whatever other codec names they've come up with, it would still affect both.

Really? It doesn't seem to be - considering over 100million iOS devices have been sold and currently the iPhone 4 and iPad cannot be made quickly enough to satisfy demand.

The lack of Flash seems to be having little effect on sales, so perhaps you think it's more important than most...

And if you go to flash only sites, that's a pretty ignorant company you're dealing with.

The day that Flash is supported on an iPhone Satan will be skating to work!

To be honest it is not much of a restriction since there are apps available to allow you to view many things which would otherwise require Flash and as for the rest for most people it isn't a deal-breaker.

Yea answer is never, Mr Jobs has publically said he wont have flash on the iPhone, instead they have backed HTML 5. Lets hope it isnt a regret in the future. Unless it is a major hinderance in the future we wont see flash on iPhone's!

More importantly, when are we getting an ms silverlight plugin? 🙂
