Magic Mouse 2: Connecting to both an iPad Pro and a MacBook Pro - Won't Work.

I have the new iPad Pro and a MacBook Pro. I have successfully connected my magic mouse2 to the iPad Pro but now my MacBook Pro does not recognize the Magic Mouse 2 as it used to. Am I able to use my Magic Mouse 2 on both of these devices?

Hi jaswilly,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

From your post, it appears that you would like to connect your Magic Mouse 2 to your iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. We want to help. While it is possible to connect multiple Bluetooth devices to one computer, in most cases and for the Magic Mouse specifically, you can only connect the Magic Mouse to one computer or device at a time. Here’s more information on how to Set up your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, and trackpad - Apple Support

Hope that helps.

Best Regards!
