Hi,
When I try to insert an audio file onto a PowerPoint presentation on my Mac I get the error message:
“PowerPoint cannot insert audio from the selected file. Verify that the path and the file format are correct, then try again.”
Anyone know how to fix this?

Welcome to the forums, I understand you have an issue with uploading audio to a powerpoint on your Mac.
Is the audio file local to the Powerpoint? (Perhaps ensure that the audio file is situated within the same folder as your saved Powerpoint file.)
How large is the audio file that you are using?
What format is the audio file?
Try using another audio file for testing - something smaller/shorter and see if you get the same issue.
Give these options a step and see how you get on?
The file I’m trying to insert in from my iTunes/music app. When I look on the file info it says it an AAC audio file.
If I record an audio via PowerPoint that inserts without any problem.
