My autocorrect typing still leaves the misspelled words on my posts. Is there a fix?

Spelling Errors are not underlined in Notes and Mail When I misspell a word, e.g., in the Notes or Mail app, they are not underlined red. I made sure that "Check Spelling while Typing" is enabled. Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

Pages can't even spell a 2 letter word! Since using the latest version of pages I have noticed it is randomly underlining correctly spelled words. I've been ignoring it up until now, but it has started becoming so annoying I'm convinced it is broken. Just to be certain, I have "check spelling by typing" switched on and nothing else. Today, it is insisting the word "by" is mispelled. I haven't asked Pages to check the grammar of the sentence it appears within, so why does it continue to pick out random words such as 'their', 'there' when they are correctly used. How can I stop it but keep the spell check on? I'd also like to know how I can get Pages to stop highlighting words it doesn't have in its spelling database (but clearly should).

spelling suggestions Why is the spelling suggestion feature always trying to correct what I type ? and conversely...I make typing mistakes, as in this question box where I have inadvertently hit the NRP when trying to use the come on you can say it two words space bar. Wow I didn’t think it was ever typed those two words. So in an email I was trying to type the word Gilligan, and wanted to keep putting in the word Gilliam. Obviously here you can tell the difference, so Why couldn’t it in the email? The other thing it does if I miss type of word and hit the it will keep the miss type a word in there even after I correct the word. I am obviously attempting to use the speech to text feature which you can see is struggling a little bit.

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
