How much does cellular cost a month

That is a question for your chosen cellular service provider.

In other words, you need to ask AT&T, T-Mobile or whatever other provider how much they charge for adding the Apple Watch to your iPhone service plan.

Normally its around $10 usd for most carriers.

The GPS only Apple Watch can do  Everything  the cellular model can do  as long as  your iPhone is  nearby, where nearby is somewhere in the same 3-4 bedroom home (assuming typical wood frame construction).  And of course when the iPhone is with you when you leave the house.

The Cellular Apple Watch allows you to leave your iPhone at home while you go for a walk, run, bike ride, etc...  The GPS only can still track your exercise, and it will sync with your iPhone when you get back.

I just scoured Verizon's website, and they don't specifically mention the price for adding an Apple Watch to your plan. They do have the price for a pair of Samsung Smart watches however: https://www.verizon.com/solutions-and-services/numbershare/

I'm going to assume the price will be shown if you login to your account to update your plan, and choose to add a number share option for your Apple Watch though.

Yes, both the Series 3 and Series 5 Apple watches come in 2 varieties.

GPS+Cellular, and GPS-Only.

The only real difference is with the GPS+Cellular versions you can make calls, send messages and stream music from the internet when your iPhone is not nearby.

Outside of that, they work the same way.
