Can´t update software

Hi, I´m trying to udate to High Sierra (my mac is mid2010), but when I click to install, a message says that : This copy of the Install macOS High Sierra app is damaged, and can´t be used to install masOS¨. Can someone tell me what can I do? I can´t install a program (Cricut) with the software my mac is.

Delete the installer from the application folder, reboot your Mac, then re-download it from the App Store.

The copy you have downloaded was signed with a security certificate that has expired.
