My MacBook Pro, MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010), OS High Sierra 10.13.6, refuses to continue the Security Update 2020-003 download. "864 of 2.10 GB...calculating" is the message, and it never changes. Any ideas out there Apple community?

(if the link doesn't work, copy and paste it into your browser) Getting the update from the App Store doesn't allow you to save the file anywhere, as far as I know.
Click the Download button.
Choose "Save File" and click OK. I saved the file in a folder on my desktop. You just want to put it anywhere you can get to it.
Once it has completed the download (hopefully!), go to where you saved it, double click on the file and it will install the update

The EU warning we had to put up because of EU law stating we could be sued for $10 million dollars if some user wanted all there info back & we didn't give it back & erase all there data... all we do is track which forums or threads you've read so the View New Topics works... LOL.

I was having this problem, too. Once I decided to save the download to a file and then open it once it downloaded, it was able to complete the download and properly install.

Thank you for the tip, but upon clicking the link a received a very ominous "EU" warning of some kind. I opted out. Thanks for trying, I'll figure something else out.
Now this sounds promising. Only thing is, I don't know how to save this update to a file. Can you help me out with that?

BDAqua, I tried your link, as well. Read the warning... Sounded like a porn site... Decided I wasn't going there... I've already got my one porn site (don't need more than one, do you?)! :-)
