I need to put microsoft word on my laptop and it needs version 10.13 to be able to do this. How do i upgrade my system to 10.13 so I can install word?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra or Catalina. Alternatively, use an older version of Microsoft Office or a product such as LibreOffice.
