According to the support article on aerial screen savers on Apple TV, I should be able to find the location where the video was shot by applying a "tap the Touch surface on your Apple TV Remote" THIS NO LONGER WORKS.

For about a month now one can NO LONGER discover the location of the aerial video screen savers on Apple TV by tapping the remote - or by scrolling through them -- it's simply NOT THERE ANYMORE.

What gives? Is this a bug in the latest release?

It is VERY annoying.

Problem miraculously resolved itself about 2 months after it started. My guess is there was some sort of bug that got fixed on the backend because no amount of restarting or settings adjustments had helped, but about a week ago, the meta-data showed back up :).

Welcome to the Apple community.

This feature still works for me, using the latest software. Have you tried restarting the Apple TV.?

Weird. Nope, all the restarts in the world (OK, 3 to maybe 5) have not solved this problem.

I am in Germany. Does that matter? WHY is this broken for so long and HOW can I be the only one who it is broken for or who is reporting it? Quite strange.

I don't know if it's a problem in Germany, although I've never seen it mentioned before. We have 6 Apple TV's and they all work the same.

Again, super strange. And surprisingly irritating -- *really* loved this feature of the TV, but removing the location data kind of kills the joy...

I still have this problem and I just updated to the latest software; still no location option. I am in the US.
