My Launcher is not working! Can some explain how to make it work?
MacBook Air
Sorry for the dumb question but where do I find the apps folder? I am looking everywhere and can't locate it...
I moved from my 6 year old MAX air to a 4 year old MacAir I happen to have versus buying a new one so I have been loading all my software on to it. Did not experience this with my older MAC Air. Thanks kindly for your advice

Hi, on the home page main screen, at the bottom is the "dock" where you can store and "launch" apps directly from the home page. There is also a Launch icon. When you select this Icon it opens up all thee apps saved on your MAC as you will have many more than can be held on the "dock". For some reason when I moved to a newer MAC Air, the launcher does not work which I find very odd.
Launchpad in the dock. When you click the icon (which is a ? mark right now ) It should open up a directory of all the apps that are stores, but when I click nothing happens. Never had this happen in the 5 years I have been using a MA so it' very odd.
Click+drag question mark out of the Dock and then find the LaunchPad app in the Applications folder and drag it into the Dock.
Or, just don't use it at all. You can access your apps from Applications folder, or you can use Spotlight to find the app by typing a couple of letters in the name. For instance, cmd-space, la should bring up LaunchPad.
Can you explain what a "Launcher" is?
So, is the "Launcher" the Dock or is it LaunchPad?
And, what "doesn't work" about it.
Is it not showing up at all? Is it not showing the apps you expect?
Are the Apps in your Applications folder?
Its called Launch Pad
Right/control click on the icon with the ? and choose "Remove from Dock". Then drag Launchpad from the Applications folder into the Dock where you would like it.
Never mind I figured it out! All is well now.... Thank you kindly...
