Updated Software now Errors Logining in Apps

Hello,


I recently updated my iphone 8 software, now it keeps saying error when logging into facebook app. So I deleted the app and redownloded and it said the same thing I'm able to login on safari just fine. I saw on line to go to "General" then settings and reset data. so I did that and restarted phone. still doesn't work. so i basically accepted it not working...


NOW my instagram app is doing the same thing!!! I tried deleting, restarting, reinstallng the app and keeps saying "ERROR We couldn't connect to Instagram. Make sure you're connected to the internet and try again." I tried logining in on the computer and still saying error. Like what the heck. Is it something with something with their servers. I don't understand. What else can I possibly do. Go to apple store and ask for help? I feel like they'll tell me it's FB or IG. But how can it be after i updated my phone. Mind you i haven't updated my phone in probably a year.
