Quicktime 10 for Catalina 10.15.5

I seem to have lost Quicktime on my system..someone suggested downloading version 7 and then doing an update but that did not work...how do I get Quicktime version 10 for my new MacBook Pro?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

I figured it out... the app was pointing to iCloud...no files existed in the cloud, I realized I had to open it with a file on my local drives.
