Hi I was. caught in the rain and my Face ID stoped working I have tried everything from reseting Face ID to reseting the whole phone nothing helps also selfie portrait dose not work I was just wondering if this has happened do anyone and then started working again a few days later as I'm assuming its wet inside so I would like to know if I should keep my hopes up for when id dries out or not.

There is no iPhone advertised as water proof. Some models are water resistant.

Visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center. Let them assess the iPhone and advise you how to proceed.
Well it’s not really worth paying the price they want for a repair seeing I am out of warranty it is kind of crazy how they can advertise a phone as water proof up to 1.5 meter when it dose not even survive a few minutes in the rain
