Still not getting notifications

I have had the I watch series 5 for maybe a month. The first 3 days or so my watch would say what the txt message says or who is calling. Since then it hasn’t been doing that. I have updated everything, rebooted everything, unpaired it, did a manufactures reset. I have also tried some of the ideas that were posted here such as turning off the cover to mute and the wake screen orientation.

anyone have any other ideas how to fix this. It is driving me nuts??
