I want a curtain opening transition for my imovie

I am not aware of any iMovie curtain opening transitions. iMovie does not accept third party plug-ins. So you are pretty much relegated to the transitions that come with the app. I have read that PowerPoint has a curtain transition. Perhaps that one can be adapted to iMovie. You can search You Tube for videos dealing with curtain transitions.

I don't think curtains could be used as transitions properly but they can be used as generators or intros to movies.
