apple TV app via Amazon Fire Stick

I just signed up for Apple TV app, via Amazon Fire TV, I set up a second account for another household member so hopefully we will have separate watch lists, recommendations, etc. I use one tv he uses another.

Question: I added a bunch of shows and movies to the "up next" list. When I went to it to actually watch something, with the exception of a handful of Apple only content (shows), every single thing I picked came up "in app purchase", use your phone to order. So that amounts to Pay Per View, right?

That can't be right, or why use the Apple TV app? Apple has great support pages, but problem is you can't ever find the answer you need.

We're on the 7 day trial, and if this is the way it's going to be, I'm out.

The Apple TV app provides access to

None of it is pay-per-view. The iTunes Store movie purchases (buy) can be viewed as many times as you like. The rentals have a 48 hour window to view it.

The subscription channels typically have a 7 day trial period (minimum). If you subscribed to Apple TV+, then what you get is access to that Apple TV+ content.
