Apple has more extensive hardware diagnostics, which might require leaving your Mac.

The following questions are to try and see if we can point to hardware or software as the root cause.

When you say "Clean Install" did you

  • Just install over top of the existing copy of macOS
  • Or did you backup your files
    • erase the disk
    • install Catalina from scratch
    • restore your files from your backup?
  • Or did you do an erase and install, and you are getting the problem WITHOUT restoring any files, and WITHOUT installing any other software. Just vanilla Catalina?

If you installed anything or restored files, then it is possible it is something you added.

If vanilla Catalina is panic'ing your system, then that would be a very strong argument for hardware.

Oh yea. Do you have any external devices plugged into your Mac. It can be a simple as a USB keyboard or mouse, to an external disk, monitor, USB hub, Dock, etc...

Maybe we can point to an external device causing issues on the interconnection bus.

I think I have extracted the useful information from the kernel panic

Looking the panic information, I cannot see any smoking guns.

No 3rd party kernel extensions.

The mac is a Mid-2017 13", so you cannot replace the RAM nor the SSD, so we cannot blame 3rd party components.

I can see that your Mac panic'ed about 23 seconds into the boot

Panic diags file unavailable, panic occurred prior to initialization
System uptime in nanoseconds: 23169390539

Where 23,169,390,539(nanosec)/1,000,000,000(nanosec/sec) = 23 seconds

You also appear to be running Catalina 10.15.5

Darwin 19.5.0

I only raise the point, as your are in the Mojave forum 😀

If you are constantly getting these panics, then you might want to consider that you have a hardware issue, that maybe Catalina is aggravating.
