Setup cannot continue because Outlook isn’t configured to have a default profile

I cannot enable calendar and contacts with icloud for windows 10 and outlook 2010. I keep getting "Setup cannot continue because Outlook isn’t configured to have a default profile". I have done everything recommended by Microsoft, Apple, and internet searches. This happened after the latest icloud for windows version 11.2. It worked fine before the update. How can I fix this?

Hello Andiamo23,

Thank you for the post. I see you're running into some issues with iCloud for Windows and Outlook, and you've done some troubleshooting already.

You mentioned that you've updated iCloud for Windows. Have you also checked for updates to Outlook and Windows 10?

This resource published by Microsoft may help as well, if you haven't tried this yet. Check it out to see if this may clear up the issue: Setup cannot continue because Outlook isn’t configured to have a default profile

Best wishes.

I have the latest updates on everything. I have been through all of the steps in the above link previously except for the shell command. I just might download office 365 since they are not going to support Office 2010 after mid October, although I have seen the same problems from people with 365. I have spent hours and hours on this to no avail. Very frustrating.
