Can the content of Keynote slides be made to automatically overflow into a new slide?

If I am cutting-and-pasting content in Keynote slides in larger chunks, the text may overflow the textbox for the slide. Is there a way of making the overflow automatically fill a new slide (such as happens in Pages, when a page is full) rather than merely overflowing the text box and having to be manually transferred to another slide? I believe that PowerPoint has that feature.

Text does not automatically flow to another slide in Keynote.

My method is to duplicate the slide (click the slide in the Navigator command D) then delete unwanted text
