Is the Apple Watch Nike Series 5 waterproof?

I am getting mixed answers in regards to it being waterproof.. I would like to know if the Apple watch nike series 5 is waterproof.. as in you can go swimming with it? Please help....

The watch is water resistant not water proof.

Yes you can go swimming, I do all the time.
