Cracked Screen Repair/No apple stores open

I have an iPhone XS with a cracked screen. It's under apple care. My local Apple store is closed indefinitely. Does Apple care work with independent repair shops under Apple care contract?

You may also be able to contact Apple Support to set up a mail in repair: Contact Support
