Bluetooth headphone disconnecting

Hello,

So I have JBL wireless headphones and they disconnect from my MacBook after a minute or two of inactivity which is something that didn't used to happen and also doesn't happen on any other devices I connect my headphones to. It's just really annoying and sometimes I have to turn off both my the bluetooth on my laptop and my headphones to get the two to pair again which takes a minute. Is there someway to fix this or disable this deactivation?
