HomePod set-up failed (-71160)

This is a 2nd HomePod (living room). First one is ok.

Was your device or iPhone unlocked? If you’re a bit slow it might lock

  • Try it again and make sure your wifi is working. You might also try resetting network settings on the device you’re using (this will restart your device - which is also a good idea) and reboot the wifi modem for good measure.
  • Make sure you did all these:
