My apple tv is not connecting to the network

I had it connected and working for almost 5/6 years and it just stopped connecting to the internet last week..

I would

disconnect both router and appletv for 30sec and see if that fix it
if it's connected by ethernet I would try another port and or cable

Apple TV network unavailable My Apple TV has always connected to my wifi just fine but all of a sudden it keeps saying "the network is temporarily unavailable. Try again later." Apple Tv Apple TV was working last then all day today it won't connect on the internet. I've done resets, restart and even had a tech from my internet provider and nothing.
