Apple TV network unavailable

My Apple TV has always connected to my wifi just fine but all of a sudden it keeps saying "the network is temporarily unavailable. Try again later." I have restarted my TV and unplugged, and plugged it back in, and also unplugged and plugged back in the router. The wifi is working on my other devices so I know it isn't a wifi issue but I would like to know how to fix this.

Please review: If your Apple TV can't connect to Wi-Fi - Apple Support

and check for network interference.

I don’t recognize that exact phrase as a notification from the Apple TV box. Could it be that your TV is giving this message overlayed over the Apple TV video, rather than the Apple TV box itself?
