eGPU Not Recognized After Catalina Update 10.15.5

I've seen another thread about this for an earlier version but I thought it was resolved. I'm having the same problem with the most recent update (10.15.5).

The eGPU setup has worked fine since I set it up about 6 months but it stopped working after I updated macOS. The eGPU icon appears when I turn on the eGPU enclosure but says "no removable GPU" from the drop down menu and then disappears shortly after that. Under Hardware>PCI, the graphics card is recognized but says the driver is not installed. My understanding was that Mac OS natively supported my graphics card after 10.15.3 and the AMD page for the graphics card only has drivers for Windows.

Does macOS Catalina no longer support the Radeon RX 5700 XT? Are others having the same problem and is there anything I can do other than hope that a future update is compatible with my eGPU setup?
