External display on imac - changing resolution

Hi - I have a 27" 5K 2019 iMac to which I have now connected a Samsung monitor - S24E450B 24-Inch Monitor (16:9) - as an external display. The optimal resolution for this monitor is 1920 x 1080, but I am unable to get the monitor to change to this setting. When I use the iMac's System Preferences -> Displays for the external display, it only shows 2 elections under the "Scaled" bullet - (i) 1080 x 1920; and (ii) 900 x 1600.

Any suggestions on how I can get the Samsung display to its optimal resolution of 1920 x 1080?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Your screen is Rotated 90° to Portrait mode, 1080*1920 is 1920*1080 but rotated.
