How do I change the starting page number for an existing section?
iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.14
For those who do not like having the page thumbnails enabled, you can also get to the Section panel by clicking anywhere in the margins (top, bottom, left, or right), or by simply hitting the Esc key. Either way, you still need to have the Format tab selected though.
Enable thumbnails. Click the first one. Your Format panel changes to the Section panel. Click in the document body to switch back to your Format panel.
Probably not documented anywhere, and should be, though you can comb through the Pages online user guide to see if Apple mentions it.
