Quit all open apps using ⌘ Tab and ⌘ Q until only the Finder icon remains.

Does it continue?

My iMac's songs play for ~8 seconds and stop. All of a sudden today, any song select on my iMac song library plays for just ~8 seconds and stops. Any fix?
