I recently restored my device from iCloud backup but the LINE app didn't restore the chat history even with an existing backup. It is manually backed up to iCloud. But the chat history is empty when I opened the app.
Is there any way to ameliorate it? I already tried offloading the app but it didn't work.

Have you tried deleting the app, reinstalling again, and trying to restore the chat history from backup?
LINE support had me delete and reinstall app. This time restore chat history screen appeared! But my call log didn't transfer on this time. Only a partial chat history came back.
Last time, the call log transferred and no chats came back.
After the iCloud restore onto new iPad the line login screen appeared again, my chats disappeared.
I followed the instructions for phone number transfer.
No, I haven't. I have contacted LINE and Apple Support. Apple said talk to LINE. Apple also said deleting and reinstalling was last resort. I have tried offsetting the app but it didn't work.
I noticed that the backup is incomplete now, after it synced with desktop LINE or after the iCloud restore. LINE on iCloud says 174.2KB while within LINE the app it said my latest backup was 178KB.
I don't recall seeing the restore chat history option.
