How can I get my iPhotos to Photos in Catalina. I have tried about a million things, but I can't get my photo libraries to go to PHOTOS, so I can actually see the photos in the files. I am SO confused. Thank you so much for any help anyone can give me!

It's simple: open the iPhoto Library with the Photos.app.
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch Photos. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and point at your iPhoto Library. It will do the rest.
