Bluetooth issues with iPhone 8 Plus after updating to 13.5.1

Updated iPhone 8 Plus to 13.5.1 and can no longer connect to home speaker with bluetooth - Q Acoustics M3 Soundbar:

https://www.qacoustics.co.uk/q-acoustics-m3-soundbar.html

Already tried ‘forget device’, restarting phone, resetting Bluetooth, and pairing again. Device appears but cannot connect with Bluetooth.

Does anyone know if this is a bug with the latest update or if there is a way to fix the Bluetooth issue?

(The speaker is in range and in pairing mode. Did not have any issues for months until yesterday’s update.)

Thanks!

Before updating to the latest iOS 13.5.1 as told on your post what was your earlier iOS version. Then you can look into the iOS changes that has happened between the earlier version on your iPhone and this new version that you have updated now.

This will give you a broader idea of the issue, if it is directly linked to the iOS version or is triggered by something else.

Because iOS 13.5.1 was only for security update, you may probably be carrying a legacy issue from previous iOS versions.
