MAC Book Pro (13 inch late 2011) OS Sierra 10.12.6

Can this be upgraded to High Sierra? When I go to the app store it says High Sierra isn't available in the US Market?

If you get a corrupted message...

Naw, not damaged, it's just that you have an old copy already in Applications, there are 2 cures...

Disconnect from the Internet & set the Date back to 2014, then you can run the Install MacsOS High Sierra App in Applications, so expired Certificates are not expired.

Or... trash the Install MacsOS High Sierra.app in Applications then a new copy more recent version can be downloaded.

If when you go to the High Sierra App Store page and it says 'Open' that means the App Store

has detected a copy of the Install macOS High Sierra.app in your Applications folder.

Locate Install macOS High Sierra.app move it to the Trash, empty the Trash.

Connect your mac to your router via cable.

Restart your mac, go back to the High Sierra download page in the App Store it should now say

'Get' or 'Download.

This will download the full installer version of macOS High Sierra this is all you need to install

High Sierra. It will install the last/ latest version 10.13.6.

When the download has finished open the Applications folder and locate Install macOS High Sierra.app

it will be about 5.23GBs in size, make a copy of the installer and store it somewhere safe.

Double-click on the one in the Applications folder to start the installation process.
