Ringer Goes To Half Volume

When anyone calls, the ringtone will be at the volume I set it to for about 1.5 seconds, but then it dies down to about half volume or less. I can't find any settings to change. It's been like this right from the first day. Is this a known bug for 11 Pro?

It is an Attention Aware feature. You can turn it off if desired. See: About Attention Aware features on your iPhone X or iPad Pro - Apple Support

Thank you, that seems to have done it. It's weird that it would do it even when I wasn't looking at it, but oh well at least it's fixed! Thanks!
