Will AirPods with different Model numbers same generation compatible with each other?
i have a a1523 and want to know if a1722 are compatible

Yes, they are two different AirPods, one will be left and one will be right, then the case has another model number
AirPods (1st generation)
A1523 (right AirPod)
A1722 (left AirPod)
A1602 (charging case)
