original iMac DVI port

Where can I find the original iMac DVI port? I need a iMac DVI to female VGA cable. The mini DP won’t work with and I know that the Mini DIsplayPort And the mini DVI ports are NOT the same. Please help?

MiniDisplayPort to VGA Adapter replacement I own a MiniDisplayPort to VGA Adapter which fits my MacBook Pro (2012). I recently mislaid this and went into a tail spin as I use this regularly. So I looked on Apples site and observed that the version I had was no longer available. At that point I became somewhat confused as am I correct in thinking I can still get one to fit my Mac but the adapter now has a Thunderbolt port connection instead that will still work with my Mac? trying second display to a Early 2008 20 inch iMac and can't locate an MINI DVI adaptor I'd like to add an additional display to my early 2008 20 inch iMac. Apparently Apple is no longer supporting the older iMacs and I'm having the devil's own time locating "how to info". What Iv'e been able to scrape up I believe a MINI-DVI to VGA adaptor would be a simple solution. Unfortunately all I seem to be able to locate are Mini display to VGA. Any suggestion where to source the former or possibly a work around? Thanks Greg

Power Mac G4 computer w/o display monitor In a move I've lost the display screen to my old Power Mac G4. I've gone to eBay and found many used G4 screens and bought one. The adapter from the screen doesn't fit the connection on my G4. I asked for Apply help and they said I need a screen with a VGA or DVI-D male connection. So far I have not been able to find one. I will attach a photo of the back of my G4. Any thoughts?
