open file from finder We used to be able to double click a file in the finder and it would open. We used to be able to select a file from Apple Many/Recent items and it would open. What has happened? MacOS Catalina 10.15.1

Error opening Documents via Finder after Catalina install After installing Catalina, I am no longer able to open files via Documents in Finder. I am able to open them if they can be retrieved via a recent file in Word, Excel, etc. How do I restore the Documents functionality? Here is the error message: “Documents” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found.
