When I look at introduction page for new Big Sur of it clearly states: iMac 2014 and above, but if I click on the link it says 2012 and above? So which one is it, and will late 2013 iMacs be able to run it?

FWIW, I have a late 2013 27" iMac and have accepted that it isn't supported
by Big Sur. But even before the Big Sur compatibility list I knew my iMac
was getting long in tooth and ready for an upgrade.

@RiverDee but that list https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201634 was not yet updated after release of Big Sur...according to the present version late 2013 iMacs are good for Big Sur but we all know it's not true unfortunately....
Either:
-Send feedback to Apple to fix there documentation on the various
sites so that they are consistent
or
-send feedback to Apple complaining about the situation since we as users
cannot do a **** thing about Apple decisions.

Interesting, Big Sur is available in the App store and says it is compatible with OS X 10.9 or later but when you click on "Get" it says "Update Not Found"
So I still have an update to Garage Band satin my App Store, how do I get rid of it, I hate little red numbers, make me think there something wrong.
Was planning to use parallels but it the same idea.

The fact that you have to disable Apple security measures to install
this "patch" should tell you something. It only takes a couple lines
of code or script to open up your digital life to the world.
