Big Sur support on iMac late 2013

When I look at introduction page for new Big Sur of it clearly states: iMac 2014 and above, but if I click on the link it says 2012 and above? So which one is it, and will late 2013 iMacs be able to run it?

So should you be allowed to drive a Model T down an interstate highway even though there’s minimum speed limit? Could you be an effective structural engineer using a slide rule these days? Should a construction project be delayed until you do the math on an abacus? Should hardware and software advancements be held back until you are ****** good and ready to upgrade your “older equipment”?

I categorically reject your premise.

It wouldn't change anything. Those people left out would still complain.

FWIW, I have a late 2013 27" iMac and have accepted that it isn't supported

by Big Sur. But even before the Big Sur compatibility list I knew my iMac

was getting long in tooth and ready for an upgrade.
