wifi not connecting at ipad switch on

Just bought my first Apple product, a 256Gb iPad Air.

Each morning after it has been in standby overnight wifi will not connect, icon shows just one bar.

If i use the top right control pull down and turn wifi off and on again it picks up connection, gives full icon and connects.

For some reason it seems to "drop" connection overnight, not sure why.

Any help appreciated.

Perhaps a problem with your WiFi Router? Try restarting your Router.

To restart, disconnect power from the the WiFi Router for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect power to restart. After your router finishes its reboot, restart each of your locally connected devices.
