Verizon Apple Music

I switched to Apple Music via Verizon after I bought a new phone and enrolled each line. However, I am still getting billed by Apple $14.99 a month. Do I need to unsuscribe from the Apple Music Subscription in my SUBSCRIPTIONS?

including the following:

You're still eligible to receive Apple Music with your plan even if you’re already a subscriber. Once you redeem the subscription and link your Apple ID, you'll be prompted within the Apple Music app to cancel one of your subscriptions. Cancelling with Apple will continue your Apple Music subscription on us.
