Music library on MacBook vs iPad

Hi. My music system (Sonos) can only access my music library via my MacBook. Previously it could do so on all my devices. Is there a sharing mechanism to enable Sonos to link to my iPad, and/or is there a way to make the library on iPad the default for Sonos? Thank you for any advice.
