Hi Lotus pilot. Thank you for attaching the links on the various adaptors this has helped me a lot. I will do a search on Amazon first before looking at Apple. I know what people say if you go by Apple at least it works. I have in the past looked at HDMI adaptorS between TV and MacBooks and I haven’t had an issues. Thanks again. jnscts

One of these adapters should be suitable for your needs:
Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter
https://store.apple.com/uk/xc/product/MK0W2ZM/A
Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader
https://store.apple.com/uk/xc/product/MJYT2ZM/A
The Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter is far mor flexible/useful, as you can simultaneously connect your Power Adapter (charger) and use a variety of USB devices with your iPad - such as standard USB adapters, including those often supplied with high-end SD and microSD cards.
Yes you do.
If it has an SD card you can get the lightning SD card reader. I use it on mine. There is also a USB adapter but I have no experience with it
that sounds good - the thought of the SD card reader never entered my mind. I will go that way. Many thanks for the
help. Kind regards. John
