I have Apple Watch 1-st gen.
Latest watch os for it has to be 4.3.2, but when I try to update it I receive a message that latest watch os is 3.1
How to update it to 4.3.2?
So Im stuck with it forever :)
Cause have two iPhones X with latest iOs - and they do not pair with this iWatch. Nothing works - automatic or manual pairing. And only solution that Ive found is to update apple watch to latest watch os on older iPhone.
Pretty much. watchOS and iOS work hand in hand, they have to match for everything to work properly- but once a version of watchOS gets too old, it seems iOS stops recognizing it. watchOS 4 released in 2017. We're moving onto watchOS 7 this fall. Honestly, it's probably time to upgrade your Watch if you want to do so.
That would be why. You need iOS 11 on your iPhone to install watchOS 4. But the iPhone 5 doesn't support iOS 11. So you're stuck there.
